The most challenging requirement in this project was mechanical and electrical compatibility with the boards on which the diodes with pins are installed. This compromise was necessary, because of nearly 30 years of operation and the thousands of delivered traffic lights, which we still successfully maintain. Both yellow and green SMD diodes required our special attention, due to their specific requirements for “distance” at the traffic light.
After successfully overcoming all the requirements, the first product was successfully used during the EHF Champions League handball matches in the “Mladost” sports hall in Bitola.
White numbers and matrices are currently being tested, they are more uniform and visible at a wider angle, which opens up possibilities for new models and variants of traffic lights, who are a rarity so far.
