Parking VMS
Parking signs help drivers find available parking spaces in cities and guide them within parking garages or lots. According to their purpose, they can be:
- Parking guidance signs in cities
- Signs at the entrance of a parking lot or parking garage
- Signs for directing drivers within a parking lot or parking garage
Parking guidance signs are primarily intended for city parking lots and other large public parking areas (shopping malls, airports…) where the parking layout is highly dispersed, making it necessary to direct drivers to the parking lot with available spaces. These signs are installed on streets (not in the parking lot itself) to guide drivers to marked parking areas and indicate the number of available parking spaces.
Signs at the entrances of parking garages or lots inform drivers of the number of available parking spaces.
Signs for directing drivers within a parking lot or parking garage are used in large public parking areas to guide drivers to available parking spaces inside them.
In accordance with European standards
Outdoor models are made in accordance with the most demanding world standard for LED signalization – EN12966. Our optics in the highest classes: Luminance L3, Luminance Ratio R3, Colour C2, Beam Width B6 or B7, with very low LED current for each color. This ensures high visibility, low consumption, and long LED lifespans. Parking signs are made of aluminum AlMg3, which is powder-coated. The housing is robust, corrosion-resistant, and provides the highest IP rating in accordance with EN12966, P3 (IP56).

Signs are usually made so that one part displays a variable message and the other part is a fixed sign with reflective foil. In this case, the part displaying the variable message is made according to EN12966, and the foil part is made according to EN12899.
Flexibility in production and many different designs
The design, appearance, and size can be fully adapted to project requirements or customer wishes, so the user can choose between matrix signs and signs with predefined text, digits, and arrows, and select the color, size, and number of digits the signs should display.
Simple integration into different parking systems
DMV parking signs can be easily integrated into any parking system using some of the most common communication protocols (UTMC, Modbus, NTCIP, Profibus, etc.) or the DMV Oblak protocol. The Oblak protocol is based on short UDP packets. DMV provides clear documentation so the client can easily integrate signs via Serial RS485 or Ethernet communication directly to the existing parking system.
Also, integration can be done using the DMV web API. In that case, the client also gets access to our Control Center software, through which he can monitor all the parking signs that are on his user account. –
