Temporary variable message signs are used for temporary traffic regulation and for timely driver information about roadworks, emergencies, or other events. They warn drivers to pay special attention and reduce speed. High visibility and reliability significantly improve safety.
These devices are suitable for situations where fixed or permanent signalization is not required, as they can be easily transported and safely positioned.
The highest classes of EN12966
Temporary (mobile) signs are produced in accordance with the most demanding world standard for variable message signs – EN12966.
They have robust housing that is specifically designed to withstand mechanical stresses, resist corrosion, be easy to use and maintain, and last long. An important feature of these signs is their high resistance to vibrations. Thanks to this feature, vibrations during transportation or at the installation site do not affect the sign’s operation.
Highest optical class: Luminance L3, Luminance Ratio R3, Colour C2, Beam Width B6 or B7, with very low LED current for each color. This enables TRS-MVMS to have high visibility, long service life, low power consumption, and long operational autonomy.
The signs are primarily intended for battery power, while the battery can be charged via solar power or an external charger. The signs are equipped with a Battery voltage monitoring hardware that measures and monitors battery voltage.
Custom Design and Manufacturing
All signs can be designed to meet customer requirements. Our engineers can propose appropriate mounting brackets for any support, from a small hand-pulled trolley to large signal trailers.
These signs can display text messages, traffic sign pictograms, and animations. Users can create their own fonts, text messages, and pictograms and upload them directly into the sign’s memory.
Simple to Manage and Maintain
Field operators manage these signs using the Command Console application, which is simple and intuitive. This application is installed on a smartphone or tablet, allowing the operator to wirelessly connect from their vehicle to set the appropriate display or message.
These signs can also be connected to a Control Center for remote monitoring and control.
In addition to changing the display, the main functions this software provides include real-time GPS location tracking and the ability to receive SMS or email alerts regarding operational issues or low battery voltage, notifying the user when it is time to replace or recharge the battery.
