Distribution Centers, Warehouses, and Factory VMS are used to direct trucks to loading points.
It enables better logistics organization in these industrial/commercial complexes and faster movement of freight traffic within them, without creating congestion.
Custom design
These signs can be made as fully matrix signs, as signs with matrix lines, or as signs with numeric-character fields, and their primary purpose is to show the vehicle licence plate number, the loading place number where the vehicle should go, the time scheduled for loading, the indication of whether the goods are ready for loading, and the like.
What will actually be displayed on the sign, the size of the characters, the color of the LEDs, and the dimensions of the sign can be fully adjusted to the needs of the user, i.e., the location where the sign should be installed. Dimensions are usually defined based on the distance from which the driver needs to read the display on the sign.
Maximum visibility with high power efficiency
Thanks to the superbly designed optics, our signs meet the highest optical classes of the EN12966 standard – L3, R3, C2, B3, B6, or B7 with small percentages of current through the diodes. This provides a very long LED lifetime and low power consumption. Signs are designed with constant-current LED drivers that provide stable luminance, independent of mains-voltage tolerances.
These signs must provide a wide beam of light, so the driver can read what is written on the sign from a wider viewing angle. Most often, these signs are made with lenses that provide the widest beam of light according to EN12966 – B7.
Simple software integration and management
hese signs are often connected to the Distribution Center/Warehouse/Factory ITS via Ethernet or RS485 serial communication. DMV offers a wide range of standard communication protocols for integration, including Modbus, Profibus, NTCIP, UTMC, Sitos, RSMP, etc. Additionally, we provide our well-documented DMV Cloud protocol. During software integration, you can rely on full support from our software team and our dedicated tools for protocol development and debugging.
Besides integration in different ITS platforms, these signs could also be managed via DMV software:
• Command Console (Android or Windows-based application) – service software used for direct control and maintenance on the site or
• Control Center (Web-based portal or SCADA server software)
